Advice to PNMs from Olivia Nolan VP of Recruitment
The best advice I can give to PNMs approaching recruitment season is to keep everything in perspective!
Recruitment can seem very overwhelming and daunting, but it's important to remember that it all boils down to the connections you make during the conversations you have. Being your most true self and trusting your gut will go a long way in making the best of your recruitment experience, and will take so much pressure off your shoulders, allowing you to truly enjoy the process.
In the end, everything will work out exactly as it's meant to-remember this! It is my true hope that you all have an amazing recruitment experience, and make connections that enrich your time here at Pitt and last for many years to come.

Why Theta Phi?

I went Theta Phi because the girls are so welcoming and genuine. During recruitment I was uncertain about what I wanted out of a sorority, and Theta Phi helped me discover what that was: a group of girls who I could joke with, cry with, and count on no matter what. Through TPA, I have now found my closest friends at college and made bonds for life.

Theta Phi has given me my home away from home. I have never met a kinder and more welcoming group of girls. I have found my forever friends who will always be there for me when I need a laugh or a shoulder to cry on. I knew I belonged in Theta Phi the first day of recruitment. I truly felt at home the moment I met my sisters! Theta Phi is a place where anyone and everyone is welcome! There is always something fun going on that everyone is welcome to attend. Every sister I talked to during recruitment was so kind and made a stressful time a lot less stressful. Theta Phi is filled with strong women, and I adore all of my sisters! I can't wait to continue to make memories with my best friends!
